A bit more about Unforgettable Image

Unforgettable Image Ltd is the joint invention of John and Claire, partners in business and life. We are located less than a mile from Reading town centre, in Berkshire.

The inspiration for starting our own boudoir photography business was the now famous TV show; How to Look Good Naked. We both completely support the message put out by the show, and have taken it on as the ethos for our business. Everyone looks good naked, and should celebrate that fact.!

Our very first boudoir style shoot was actually a bit of a surprise; Claire wanted to have her own LGN style shoot, so we went into the studio and experimented. The results of that shoot changed our life forever, the images on this page were created and we immediately knew that we had something worthwhile, these images are still our most popular images to recreate. There has been no looking back since that photo shoot, and boudoir photography is now our main source of income.

It really took us by surprise how quickly the business grew, a sure sign that our imagery and attitude was exactly what people want. We decided to take a few risks along the way; most of the larger photographic studios will offer very cheap photo shoots to entice you into their high pressure sales environment, and then reveal the true cost of buying the photographs. A sure way to make money, but really rude.

It is very important to us that our customers do not feel pressured, surprised or cheated in any way. So all of our packages include at least one print, and we publish (and keep realistic) the prices of all our additional products.

We built our detached studio from the ground up in 2005 at the back of our home (I never was a fan of commuting). This means there's no problems with parking, and aides the relaxed and informal atmosphere in our photo shoots. My favourite quote from one of our customers when describing her photo shoot is: "It was like popping round a friend's for coffee..... except more naked."

Our imagery speaks for itself. It is as a result of the combined talents of John, with his calm flair for iconic lighting and imagery, and Claire's natural ability to set people at ease and her meticulous eye for detail. All of the photographs you see on our website are of Claire, or our customers (that have given us permission to show their images), there's not a single model among them. They are all normal people just like you.

Every shoot is a genuine pleasure and privilege.
